Junior DevOps & SRE Engineer supporting Quvia’s NextGen connectivity platform with 24/7 site reliability, automation and cloud infrastructure operations from the Chennai office.
Required Skills
• Strong programming skills in Shell scripting and Python with understanding of object-oriented concepts• Solid hands-on knowledge of Linux operating system, commands and system administration basics

• Support the engineering and operations team with 24/7 on-call responsibilities in rotational shifts to keep the platform available• Assist in building and validating Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new features, integrations and customer requirements
• Participate in onboarding new customer fleets and systems onto Quvia’s connectivity platform, ensuring smooth adoption
• Monitor system health, performance and reliability using modern monitoring tools and follow SRE best practices
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Shell to reduce manual work and streamline recurring tasks
• Help implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying updates to the connectivity platform in a safe and consistent manner
• Support the management of cloud infrastructure and containerized services using AWS, Linux and Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across India, UK and US offices to resolve issues and deliver stable releases
• Document operational procedures, runbooks and troubleshooting steps for common incidents and tasks
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements in monitoring, reliability, automation and security for the platform
