Job Role

Develop communication protocol drivers and connectivity software for Variable Frequency Drive products within the Danfoss Drives Product Development organization.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on proficiency in C++ programming and modern software engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of software design concepts including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Practical knowledge of communication protocols such as Fieldbus, MQTT, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.
• Proficiency with software development and testing tools including Visual Studio, Git, and Google Test.
• Experience working with static code analysis tools and executing code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Strong troubleshooting and structured debugging skills to isolate and resolve software defects.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum development methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Owners and Technical Product Owners to refine and clarify technical requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain communication protocol drivers and connectivity software in C++.
• Prepare comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentations prior to coding.
• Perform static code analysis on codebase and resolve warnings or identified software defects.
• Write, execute, and maintain unit test scripts using Google Test framework along with engineering test cases.
• Debug complex software problems involving hardware connectivity, communication interfaces, and timing.
• Participate actively in code reviews, Agile Scrum ceremonies, and continuous product delivery.
