Job Role
Software Developer responsible for building, enhancing and supporting applications using Java, Azure, AWS or .Net stack based on business requirements as part of Infosys delivery teams.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge in at least one major technology among Java, Azure, AWS or .Net.
- Basic understanding of software architecture concepts and design fundamentals used in enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) activities for development and maintenance projects.
- Awareness of Agile ways of working and usage of testing tools for validation and quality checks.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to debug issues and trace problems across modules.
- Capability to quickly understand client business domain and translate it into technical solutions.
- Nice to have exposure to Microservices-based solutions and cloud-native practices.
- Added advantage if you have worked with tools like GCP DevOps, Dynatrace, BMC Remedy ITSM or SRE concepts through projects or internships.
- Good communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, follow coding standards and adapt to Infosys processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Interact with client or onsite team members to understand issues, clarify requirements and support quality assurance discussions.
- Study functional and technical requirements and contribute to preparation and review of design documents.
- Assist in validating architecture decisions and ensuring that chosen solutions align with project goals and standards.
- Develop clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices and internal coding guidelines.
- Participate in effort estimation, planning activities and provide technical inputs during solution discussions.
- Prepare and execute unit test cases, review test results and support defect fixing during different testing phases.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying technical risks early and helping in mitigation planning.
- Take part in code reviews, share feedback with peers and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and performance guidelines.
- Contribute to project documentation, knowledge base and ensure compliance with organizational processes and policies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and maintain high customer satisfaction.
